On September 20, 2019, the Cooperation meeting between China Shipbuilding Industry (Chongqing) southwest equipment research institute and Chongqing Gonggang Zhihui additive manufacturing technology research institute was successfully held in 3D Zhihui. Zhou Xu, director of Management Committee of Chongqing Nanping modern service industry cluster area, Li Junlin, vice president of Southwest Equipment Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry (Chongqing), relevant leaders and technical experts, Chuandong shipyard, Chongqing Huayu Relevant leaders of Electric Group Co., Ltd., chairman of Chongqing Gonggang Zhihui additive manufacturing technology research institute, Yang Zhuangzhi, relevant leaders and technical experts attended the meeting and discussed relevant topics.

The meeting focused on the topics of Ukrainian shipbuilding technology exchange, laser cladding ship manufacturing and remanufacturing technology and application, material gene, digital design and simulation, etc. Chairman Yang Zhuangzhi presided over the meeting.

Dr. Sergey rezhkov, vice president of international cooperation of Ukrainian Academy of shipbuilding Sciences and Nikolayev University, introduced the general situation of Ukrainian shipbuilding technology, focused on sharing the advantages of Ukraine's shipbuilding technology, and generally introduced the relevant cases of technical cooperation with China. Li Junlin, vice president of Southwest Equipment Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Heavy Industry (Chongqing), introduced the relevant situation of the Research Institute, and had an exchange and discussion with Dr. Sergei rezhkov on the technical issues of the shipbuilding industry. Dr. Huang can, a technical expert of Gonggang Zhihui , shared the topic of "Application of ultra high speed laser cladding technology in ships", and made a detailed analysis and explanation on the application of this technology in the shipbuilding industry. Dr. Tang Yunlong, a technical expert of Gonggang Zhihui, shared the theme entitled "opportunities and challenges of additive manufacturing". He pointed out that the future of additive manufacturing is the research of new materials, the application of integrated design and process planning, and the composite manufacturing of adding and reducing materials. Dr. Dong Guoying, a technical expert of Gonggang Zhihui, shared the theme of "Application of finite element simulation in engineering". He introduced the effective engineering analysis method of finite element simulation with high calculation accuracy and adaptability to various complex shapes, as well as its application in engineering field.

The successful holding of the cooperation conference will help China Shipbuilding Industry (Chongqing) southwest equipment research institute and Chongqing Gonggang Zhihui additive manufacturing technology research institute to further connect, clarify each other's needs, and promote the cooperation between the two sides to a more solid and deeper level.
